Veronica has lived in Las Cruces for 28 years and is an NMSU Alumni. She loves meeting people from near and far and watching them fall in love with the Mesilla Valley.  Veronica's favorite part of real estate is connecting with people and helping them get to the finish line.  In her spare time she likes to dance, work out, and get away to relax.  Balance is key. Veronica is a proud parent of a 16 and 12 year old plus her fur baby. Lic. #52694 - Julia Gallegos is from Albuquerque New Mexico. She worked as a business manager until she decided to pursue entrepreneurship and founded her company Desert Jewels in 2009. Desert Jewels started out as a photography company that also produced fashion shows and many events throughout Albuquerque including “Face to Face Networking”. She was a board member of The Duke City Darlins, a group that volunteered their time and efforts to support the community. DCD’s received many awards including “Best Humanitarians” 2011 in Albuquerque the Magazine; they were a crucial part in bettering the city with their hands on approach in the community. Julia has always made it a priority in life to volunteer her time and skills for those in need or any cause she is passionate about.

In 2012 Julia relocated to Las Cruces, New Mexico where she went back to college and fell in love with filmmaking, “It’s like photography on steroids”. She spent 4 years getting a degree in 2017 for Creative Media Technology (emphasis on film) and a second degree in 2018 for Digital Graphics Technology.

While working on her degrees she took the required courses to take the exam & get her real estate license, a dream she's had for years. In June 2019 she passed the exam and joined Mesilla Valley Property Group. She's very excited to assist home buyers in finding their dream home and sellers market their homes in the most creative ways.

With her passion for all things film she has added every aspect of creative media to her repertoire and Desert Jewels is now producing short films, commercials, music videos and graphic design. Her goal is to work with local businesses to share their stories because “When we work to build each other up, we all prosper”. She's especially eager to utilize her artistic touch to market & advertise homes in Las Cruces.
